Hi! Welcome to the Compass Program and to CAVA! Compass has two goals: we serve as the launching pad to get new families off to a Strong Start each year, and we help support student engagement throughout the school year.
We know that our unique school program presents both opportunities and challenges for our families. Compass is here to help your family navigate those challenges so that your student can thrive in our school. Welcome! Our team is here to support you and your family. We are committed to growing and fostering relationships within our school community. I am passionate about Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), for students and adults. SEL skills are foundational to success in school, college, career, and life. My experience as an educator, administrator, and clinician has equipped me to support our Compass Team in identifying strategies and resources that will support a safe and caring environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth.
